The Georgetown Heritage Society recently rebranded as Preservation Georgetown and asked me to help them bridge the gap between their old and new identities, as well as to design a commemorative tote bag for the occasion. I took the idea of the roofline from their original logo as the main identifying factor for the new one, and took the whole thing outside of the box that it was in with the intention of being able to use the roofline as a standalone piece from time to time (you can see this in action here.)
For the tote bag, one side is the new logo and website and the other is a series of line drawings of the main structures that contribute to each of Georgetown's four historical districts.
